I was at my parents house and watching HK news. At the height of the typhoon there were these crazy storm-chasers playing in the wind/water!! Well, not water in the ocean, water that came up onto the roads and sidewalks.
When is it officially "typhoon season" in HK? Matt wants to avoid it!

Typhoon season should end around Sept/Oct. But you don't want to come during summer either. The heat and the bad air is killing you. A few construction workers died at work this year already, because of the heat and also because the bosses didn't allow them to take rest and drink more water.
The Observatory said because of the global weather change, we are going to have stronger typhoon and stronger rain now, making it more dangerous.
