Why I am in Beijing
Front door of exhibition (1 of 2)
Ida @ HK Booth Part 2
So here I am, the real me in front of the HK booth.
This is the 8th day I am in Beijing. Tomorrow is the last day of the exhibition and then on Monday I am home.
It's terribly busy for the last few days. Totally out of my expectation. I bring a couple of books to read and I even bring my cross stitching stuff, and all I have done was reading a few pages at the Star Buck tonight when I was having dinner! Poor Ida.
The exhibition is supposed to close at 5pm everyday except tomorrow, but things usually pop up suddently at night. On Monday, the President of the organizer wants to tour around the exhibition to make sure everything is ready for the opening the next day. On Tuesday, it's a special session for party and government leaders. On Wednesday, we went out to have a drink with some of the organizer's staff and I almost got drunk. On Thursday, it's the exhibition appreciation dinner. On Friday, we were finally free for the evening; and tonight, everyone is gone except me staying behind for packing up tomorrow.
Most of the time I just travelled between the hotel, the exhibition venue and the Beijing Hotel (where the conference part was held). I didn't go many places and I didn't want to go a lot of places either as I am tired. Well, old people can't stand travelling around so frequent.
